The Grounds

The SPAC grounds cover over 16 acres of land once you enter the venue. All locations throughout the grounds can be accessed via asphalt sidewalks. The second floor of The Pines (i.e., The Nancy DiCresce Room and Live Nation’s VIP Club) can be accessed via an elevator in the first-floor lobby.

There is a wheelchair ramp allowing easier access into the amphitheater located on the north side of the venue behind the Hall of Springs Gate. All reserved seats on the lower level (sections 1-14) can be accessed without using stairs. Although the balcony can be accessed via balcony ramps, only the accessible reserved seats behind sections 16-17 can be accessed without using stairs. All other sections of the balcony require the use of stairs.

Courtesy Carts

The venue provides a limited number of courtesy carts to help transport guests. Courtesy carts are available at events including Live Nation performances, Saratoga Jazz Festival, New York City Ballet, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and high school and college graduations. These 6-seat carts are intended to transport only those guests needing assistance and one companion each.

SPAC-Produced Events

For SPAC events, guests seeking courtesy carts can be picked up at the Sun Dial at the Route 50 Main Entrance or at the Hall of Springs Entrance. Guests will be brought to the perimeter of the reserved seating area at designated drop-off locations.

Additional Accommodations

Assisted Listening Devices

For SPAC events, the venue offers a limited number of Assisted Listening Devices (ALD) for guests who are hearing impaired. SPAC’s system is an ultra-high frequency, in-ear personal monitoring system. An induction neck loop for t-switch hearing aids or earbuds are available depending on need.

If you wish to reserve an ALD in advance of attending a performance, please fill out the form below. Reservations will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis and a drivers’ license will be held by the venue as collateral while the device is being used. Guests may pick up their ALD at Guest Services prior to the performance.

Sign Language Interpretation

SPAC offers sign language interpretation upon request only. Requests for interpreters must be received at least two weeks before the event date.

Please submit your requests here and include how many in your party need interpretation and the ticket type you have. Interpretation requests are subject to the availability of an interpreter and therefore may not always be possible.

Mobility Assistance Devices

The venue does not provide mobility assistance devices for rent or use during events, such as wheelchairs, scooters, and crutches. Please plan to bring your personal devices should they be needed for your time at the venue.

Restrooms

Most restroom locations within the SPAC grounds offer fully accessible and ambulatory restrooms stalls. Additionally, The Pines’ main restroom location has two family/inclusive private restrooms. Upon request, the SPAC Medical Clinic may be accessed for assistance and privacy with accessible restroom needs. Please note that the House restrooms and Hall of Springs restrooms are not fully accessible due to stairs.

Service Animals

SPAC allows service animals to enter the venue. Service animals are defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as dogs or miniature horses that are trained to do work to perform tasks related to people with disabilities. The work or task the service animal is trained to do must directly relate to the person’s disability. Service animals must be housebroken. Service animals are required to behave and not repeatedly bark, growl, jump up on, or lunge at other guests or employees. Corrective action must be taken if the service animal is not behaving appropriately.

Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA. Comfort animals, emotional support animals, and therapy dogs are not listed as service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA. This also applies to the other species of animals, wild or domestic, trained or untrained. The ADA requires the service animal to be under the control of the handler. This may include using a harness, leash, or other tether. Our venue employees are not required to provide for the care or supervision of a service animal, including cleaning up after it. Service animals must remain on the floor and are not allowed on dining chairs or tables in our food and beverage locations. Live Nation and our operating partners have the right to deny access to a service animal that disrupts our operations.

Please contact a member of the guest services team if your service animal needs access to a relief area.

Medication

If you need to enter with prescribed medication to be taken during the event, we require that all medication be in its original container with a name that is verifiable with a photo ID. Please only bring what is required for the duration of the event. We do not have the ability to store any type of medication. Over-the-counter medication must be in its original packaging.

Parking

Accessible parking is available in all parking lots including the Route 50 Lot, Hall of Springs Lot, and Patron Parking Lot. A valid accessible parking tag and proper identification is required to access these spaces. Please be advised that accessible parking is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. The venue cannot reserve or hold these spaces for guests. Accessible parking can be filled quickly, so please plan on arriving early.

Drop Off Locations

When you arrive at the venue, please let the parking staff know that you are dropping someone off for accessibility reasons and they will direct you to the closest drop-off location.
