Learn
Everyone should have the opportunity to experience the transformative power of the arts.
That is why SPAC’s education programs inspire more than 50,000 students every year to appreciate, create, and celebrate the performing arts. Partnering with more than 120 schools and non-profits in the Saratoga, Adirondack, and Capital Regions of NY State, SPAC provides more than 400 annual education events at no cost to participants.

For Schools
Numerous studies have shown that participation in the arts promotes positive academic, social, and emotional development in students. Our school programs support local educational institutions in providing invaluable arts enrichment opportunities to all students. Programs typically include a school day assembly, field trip, or residency along with free tickets to a performance at SPAC.

For Families
When families participate in the arts together, these shared experiences create bonds, memories, and traditions that sustain an appreciation of the arts which lasts for generations. At SPAC, we offer interactive experiences with the arts that appeal to all members of the family, including family-oriented performances, events, and workshops.

Participate
We believe that students of all ages, backgrounds, identities, and abilities should have equal access to high-quality arts education and performance opportunities, including those who are new to an art form as well as experienced practitioners. That is why SPAC offers an array of free programs, workshops, and events each year at its state-of the art facilities.

Outreach
We support and uphold the important mission to make the arts equally accessible and inclusive to all residents of the Adirondack, Saratoga, and Capital Regions. Through partnerships with numerous non-profit organizations, we provide programs to identify and overcome barriers that prevent individuals, groups, and families from experiencing the arts firsthand.

SPAC School of the Arts
