LIVE NATION does not allow patrons to bring alcohol

Permitted Items: 

  • ONLY small clutches, wristlets, or fanny packs no bigger than 4.5”x6.5” OR clear plastic bags NO BIGGER than 12″x12″x6” will be allowed inside
  • Cameras – nonprofessional only, no detachable lenses
  • Food – in a clear, 1-gallon ziplock bag
  • Water – an empty water bottle OR up to 1 gallon of water in a factory sealed bottle is permitted
  • Small blankets 
  • Lawn Chairs – For the safety and convenience of all our guests, only collapsible lawn/camping chairs will be permitted with the height of the chair not to exceed 43” when collapsed. Canopies, footrests, side tables, and other attachments are prohibited. This policy will be strictly enforced. Chairs not meeting these specifications will not be allowed entry. Low profile/beach chairs may be rented upon entering the facility adjacent to the main merchandise tent or in advance by clicking here, subject to availability.   • Laser pointers
  • Animals (except service animals)
  • Fireworks
  • iPads/tablets
  • Selfie sticks

  • Lawn chairs between the center two balcony ramps will be restricted to low-profile chairs with a height not exceeding 26”
  • No glass of any kind
  • No pets, roller-blades, skateboards or bikes
  • No cameras, video or recording equipment
  • No grills, hibachis or cooking equipment
  • It is a VIOLATION of NYS Law to carry or possess any firearm, knife, weapon or fireworks on Park Property
  • No smoking in the center lawn area
  • You are permitted to bring in factory sealed water bottles and essential personal items. This is to minimize the need for manual security check points and bag searches, as per the recommendations from the Department of Health to limit congregating and density at entrances. We are planning touchless entry points whenever possible.
  • For the Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival only, guests are permitted to bring up to one gallon of factory sealed water, food in a clear plastic bag, blankets (no larger than their designated pod size), chairs and personal umbrellas or clip-on umbrellas.
  • No Coolers
  • No Tents or Tarps
  • No Pets, Roller-blades, Skateboards or Bikes
  • No Grills, Hibachis or Cooking Equipment
  • No Glass of any kind
  • No Beer Kegs or Beer Balls
  • It is a VIOLATION of NYS Law to carry or possess any firearm, knife, weapon or fireworks on Park Property
  • Jazz Festival Camera Policy
    • OK: Personal hand-held cameras (i.e. small digital or point-and-click cameras; no long/large/zoom/detachable lenses; no tripods; no pro cameras)
    • NOT OK: Professional or pro-sumer cameras and/or equipment (no large/long/zoom/detachable lenses or tripods)

Helpful Hints

All Venues

  • Children 2 and under are free for all events as long as they do not take up their own seat in the amphitheater. Children 15 and under are free on the lawn for SPAC classical events (New York City Ballet & The Philadelphia Orchestra).
  • If someone has a medical condition that requires syringes or special medical attention, they should alert the SPAC staff on arrival who will notify SPAC Medical to discuss your needs.
  • Alcohol is sold at Jazz Festival and Live Nation concerts. Picture ID required for all ages.
  • We do not make public announcements during any performance. If you need to locate someone make sure you know your party’s seat location.

Live Nation

  • Gates open a minimum of 1 hour prior to MOST Live Nation events.
  • Parking lots open a minimum of 2 hours prior to MOST Live Nation events.
  • If you are concerned about your child’s safety, we suggest purchasing a lawn seat and accompanying him/her.
  • When picking children up, we suggest arriving at least 1/2 hour before the concert ends or you may not be able to get into the parking lot.
  • Camping on NYS Park Grounds is prohibited. Go to www.saratoga.org for information about local campgrounds.

Classical Season Performances

  • Gates open 2 hours prior to classical events and Jazz Festival.
  • Accessible carts are available during Classical Season events
