Where You Can Find Us
SPAC School of the Arts
The SPAC School of the Arts (SOTA) is a year-round facility dedicated to providing music, theatre, and dance enrichment classes to students of all ages and abilities while furthering SPAC’s mission to facilitate inclusion, equity, and access in arts education. The SPAC School of the Arts operates out of the Lewis A. Swyer Studios located behind the National Museum of Dance.
In Schools
Working with schools across the Capital Region, SPAC Education brings high-quality, arts programming directly into classrooms. Offerings include our Classical Kids in-school music and dance program, as well as customized in-school Dance Residencies led by SPAC teaching artists. These experiences connect students to live music and movement, support curriculum goals, and foster creativity, collaboration, and confidence.
In the Community
SPAC Education’s Community Programs are designed to expand access and celebrate the creative voices of our region. In partnership with more than 50 nonprofit organizations across the Capital Region, these initiatives bring collaborative arts programming directly into surrounding communities. By reducing barriers and strengthening community connections, these programs foster creativity, access, and a lasting sense of belonging on and off the grounds of Saratoga Performing Arts Center.
At Saratoga Performing Arts Center
On the grounds of Saratoga Performing Arts Center, SPAC Education creates meaningful and welcoming experiences for audiences of all ages. Signature initiatives include the annual Festival of Young Artists, the Play In with The Philadelphia Orchestra, and Family Nights. Together, these programs help ensure that SPAC is a place where families gather, young artists shine, and community members of all abilities feel comfortable, valued, and included.
Support Our Mission
Help make the arts more accessible by supporting our outreach initiatives, including our tuition scholarship fund, free programs for diverse learners, and year-round arts camps for children from under-resourced communities.
