Ticket Policy
By purchasing tickets to an event at Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies apply exclusively to events presented by SPAC and may be amended at any time without notice in SPAC’s sole and absolute discretion. Ticketholders must check this webpage periodically for any changes to this Ticket Policy. No one will be permitted entry to a SPAC event without a valid ticket or pass.
Each ticket is a revocable license granting the holder admission to the event indicated on the ticket. Admission is subject to compliance with all SPAC policies, venue rules, and applicable laws. SPAC reserves the right to refuse admission or revoke tickets at any time for violations of this Ticket Policy or any other SPAC policy (which are hereby incorporated by reference). SPAC reserves all rights not expressly granted to ticketholders.
A ticket is valid only for the performance of the event occurring on the date, at the time, and for the location set forth on the ticket.
Tickets for events produced by SPAC are valid only if originally purchased or issued through an authorized outlet listed below. SPAC reserves the right to void any ticket that did not originate from an authorized source, regardless of subsequent resale or transfer:
- The SPAC Box Office
- The official SPAC website (spac.org)
SPAC cannot guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from unauthorized resellers or secondary marketplaces and is not responsible for any issues arising from such purchases.
All ticket sales are final.
Please note Live Nation events hosted at SPAC are produced and presented by Live Nation and tickets to such events are sold via Ticketmaster.com. Any tickets purchased for those events follow the policies and guidelines of Ticketmaster.com. SPAC is not responsible for any issues arising from the purchase of Live Nation tickets via Ticketmaster.com.
*Please note Ticketmaster.com is not an authorized ticketing partner for events produced and presented by SPAC.
- Tickets may not be resold for more than face value.
- SPAC reserves the right to prohibit resale for certain events or seating locations, and to restrict resale on third-party platforms.
- Tickets sold or transferred in violation of resale restrictions shall be voided without refund and the holder of such tickets will be refused admission to the associated event.
- The original ticket purchaser agrees to inform and require subsequent purchasers of this Ticket Policy. Acceptance of such transferred or sold tickets shall be considered acceptance of the terms of this Ticket Policy.
- You may not resell or advertise for resale any SPAC tickets within 500 feet of venue property or before tickets are made available for sale to the general public.
- SPAC may restrict the maximum number of tickets sold per person and reserves the right to cancel tickets bought in excess of this limit.
- You may not use SPAC’s name, logos, or other branding to advertise tickets for resale, and you must not authorize others to do so without SPAC’s express prior written permission.
- Tickets may not be used for any form of commercial or trade purposes, including, but not limited to, promotions, contests, commercial or advertising purposes, sweepstakes, charitable giveaways, or other activities absent SPAC’s prior written consent.
- Premier parking may not be sold or transferred independently – it may only be transferred together with a performance ticket.
- Tickets may be transferable when permitted by the SPAC Box Office; however, SPAC may require photo identification or the original payment method at time of transfer to prevent fraud.
This policy applies only to SPAC-produced events and does NOT apply to Live Nation events.
- There are no refunds on tickets unless an event is canceled. If an event is rescheduled, tickets will be automatically honored for the new date. Additional options may be offered and will be communicated directly to ticketholders as outlined in the Weather section . SPAC assumes no liability for any increased costs incurred by ticketholders if an event is rescheduled. This includes, without limitation, costs incurred for travel, lodging, and other related accommodations.
- Ticket exchanges are permitted if the event being exchanged is more than three (3) days away, not sold out, and eligible for exchange.
- A $5 per ticket exchange fee applies. The exchange fee is subject to adjustment in SPAC’s sole and absolute discretion.
- Exchange eligibility and availability are determined by the SPAC Box Office.
This policy applies only to SPAC-produced events and does NOT apply to Live Nation events.
Once tickets are purchased, if an event is canceled, SPAC may offer one or more of the following options:
- Exchange tickets for another SPAC-produced event
- Exchange tickets for a gift certificate for a future event
- Donate the value of tickets to support SPAC
- Receive a full refund
If an event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets will be automatically honored for the new date. Ticketholders unable to attend must contact the SPAC Box Office for additional options. Ticketholders will be notified directly with instructions should any of these circumstances occur.
This policy applies only to SPAC-produced events and does NOT apply to Live Nation events.
- Promotional offers, discounts, and special pricing are valid only for the dates and events specified.
- Offers may include group sales, student discounts, military discounts, member discounts, or other promotions.
- Only one discount or promotional offer may be applied per ticket.
- SPAC reserves the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time.
This policy applies only to SPAC-produced events and does NOT apply to Live Nation events.
- All events are rain or shine. There are no refunds for bad weather. SPAC strongly encourages ticketholders to dress appropriately for the weather as SPAC is an open-air venue.
- If an event is canceled due to an extreme weather event, SPAC may offer:
- Exchange for a gift certificate for a future event
- The option to donate the value of tickets to SPAC
- A full refund
This policy applies only to SPAC-produced events and does NOT apply to Live Nation events.
As SPAC is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, if you are unable to use your tickets, you may donate them to SPAC for resale.
- Ticket donations are ideally received several days prior to the performance to allow processing time.
- Donations are accepted until the day prior to the performance date.
- To donate tickets, contact the SPAC Box Office at 518-584-9330 x802 or email boxoffice@spac.org.
Once donated tickets are received by SPAC, a written acknowledgment will be sent approximately one month after the performance date to the extent the charitable contribution is $250 or more.
- Tickets may be delivered electronically, by mail, or held at Will Call depending on the event.
- Will Call tickets must be picked up by the original purchaser with valid photo identification and the credit card used for purchase.
- SPAC reserves the right to modify ticket delivery methods when necessary for operational or security reasons.
- Every person, regardless of age, must have a ticket unless otherwise stated.
- Ticketholders, ticketholders’ vehicles, and ticketholders’ belongings may be searched upon entry into any SPAC event, and ticketholders consent to such searches and waive any related claims that might arise against SPAC. If ticketholders elect not to consent to such searches, ticketholders may be denied entry into the event.
- Late arrivals may be seated at an appropriate break in the performance at the discretion of SPAC or event staff; provided, however, that admission following late arrivals cannot be guaranteed by SPAC.
- SPAC reserves the right to relocate seating as required for safety, production, or operational needs.
SPAC is committed to providing accessible seating and services in accordance with ADA guidelines. Patrons requiring accommodations are encouraged to contact the Box Office in advance.
Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner. SPAC reserves the right to remove any patron whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or in violation of venue policies, without refund.
By purchasing tickets, patrons agree that SPAC may contact them regarding event updates, ticket delivery, and important performance information. Personal information will be handled in accordance with SPAC’s privacy practices and applicable laws.
SPAC reserves the right to update or modify this Ticket Policy at any time without notice to ticketholders. Changes will be posted on this page and will take effect immediately unless otherwise stated.
Any breach of this Ticket Policy by ticketholders will cause irreparable injury to SPAC and ticketholders consent to injunctive relief to prevent or mitigate any irreparable injury.
