Saratoga Springs, NY (March 6, 2024) – Saratoga Performing Arts Center announces its Summer SPACtacular is back for its second annual event on Friday, May 31 from 5:00 – 11:30 p.m. to benefit SPAC’s mission, year-round programming, and education initiatives. The season kick-off fundraiser will feature an expansive celebration across the SPAC grounds that includes live music, a multi-course “Summerscape Supper,” culinary tastings, cocktails, a new “glow lounge” with mocktails and tarot card readings, fireworks, and a dance party on SPAC’s historic stage.

“Last year’s Summer SPACtacular was incredibly successful — celebrating SPAC’s mission with a host of experiences taking place in every corner of our campus. This year, we look forward to building off that momentum with expanded tastings, great music, and exciting enhancements to the evening,” said Elizabeth Sobol, President & CEO of SPAC. “We are grateful to the SPAC Action Council and Friends of SPAC for their incredible efforts and to our community for their attendance – all in support of our commitment to year-round programming and education.”

Featuring two different ticketing options including a “Party Pass” and an “All-Access Pass,” attendees will have the opportunity to experience SPAC like never before with tastings, libations and entertainment throughout the SPAC campus. Guests who purchase a “Party Pass” will enjoy live music by American Idol finalist and Saratoga Springs native Jes Hudak, tastings from the region’s best restaurants, fine wines, local distillery and brewery tastings, and a new “Glow Lounge” featuring mocktails by Little Lucy’s of Lucy’s Bar, emotion code readings by Gina Sabatini and tarot card readings by Sarah Sweeney. The evening will culminate with a dazzling fireworks display and a dance party with DJs Eric & Dillon of Experience Events on SPAC’s historic stage.

In addition to the “Party Pass” offerings, the “All-Access Pass” also includes a reception with craft cocktails, hors d’oeuvres from Meadowlark Catering, and live music by Jonathan Greene and the Grand Boubousse on the amphitheater stage. Following the cocktail reception is an intimate “Summerscape Supper” produced by CulinaryArts@SPAC with renowned regional chefs Alex Lempka, Dan Spitz, and Michael Blake, featuring three-courses that celebrate the rhythm of the seasons alongside wine pairings. An exciting paddle raise hosted by emcee and News 10 ABC’s Lydia Kulbida will also highlight the supper. The “All-Access Pass” also features exclusive admission to post-dinner aperitifs and sweet treats on The Pines Terrace.

The Summer SPACtacular is SPAC’s largest fundraiser to support its mission and year-round programming and education initiatives. Tickets to the SPACtacular are available online at spac.org.
