About Us
Friends of SPAC Committee Mission
The Friends of SPAC are arts-loving volunteers. As ambassadors, the committee promotes SPAC membership at all levels. The committee connects young people with world-class arts events and education, ensuring the vitality of SPAC and the arts. Activities include community outreach and fundraising that support SPAC’s mission.
The Friends of SPAC Committee is invested in assuring the future of SPAC. SPAC has exponentially increased the number of educational offerings to the community, especially for local children, in the pursuit of the belief that every child should have the opportunity to experience the arts. All funds raised by Friends of SPAC’s efforts directly contribute to arts education and programming for local children.

Membership
The Friends of SPAC is a dynamic group of local community members, professionals, and performing arts patrons who work in tandem with the SPAC strategic planning and fundraising teams. The Committee’s primary focus is to cultivate a younger demographic to support SPAC and promote the arts in our community. The Friends of SPAC Committee is actively recruiting community members!
There is no application process to become a member and new members are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. The committee welcomes SPAC Members at all levels to participate in volunteer work. To learn more about membership or for general questions about the Friends of SPAC, please contact Ashley Budd, President of the Friends of SPAC Committee, or Mallory Willsea, Membership chair.
Friends of SPAC Committee Members have dedicated their time to raising funds for SPAC, in particular for SPAC classical programming and youth education.
