Heralded by The New York Times for their “buoyant rhythm, blinding technique, (and) solid entertainment,” The Django Festival All Stars bring the hot jazz music from the 1920s and ‘30s to today. Their unique, high-energy performances combine known standards, while adding their own interpretations, arrangements, and original compositions. The Django Festival Allstars, have grown into a brilliantly cohesive group of star musicians who’ve taken America by storm.

Dorado Schmitt, a guitarist and violinist born in 1957 in St- Avold, Lorraine, France, is a manouche guitar legend. Schmitt started coming to the United States in 2002 and has been a star attraction at major festivals and at Birdland in NY, home of the Django Reinhardt NY Festival. He has played alongside some of the U.S.’s most important jazz artists, including James Carter, Paquito D’Rivera, George Benson, Joe Lovano, Harry Allen and so many others.
Hot Club of Saratoga specializes in the timeless sounds of Django Reinhardt and the vibrant atmosphere of 1930’s Paris. Their music brings the magic of hot swing to life, and they are known for their captivating performances.
