This offering is two classes in one: a biographical video introduction to eight different “little-known luminaries” of Ballet in America followed by a 60-minute ballet technique class that includes barre, center, and a movement variation inspired by the artist of the day.
Come explore the life and accomplishments of Fokine, Massine, Franklin, and Wilde plus four familiar icons that include Ashton, Balanchine, Chase, and Karinska. Ballet slippers are recommended.
This class is open to everyone and supports personal goals, making it eligible for OPWDD Self-Direction funding.
