NYCB Ballet Essentials Workshop

Experience New York City Ballet in a brand-new way in this 75-minute movement workshop for teens and adults with little or no dance training. NYCB dancers will lead participants through a ballet warm-up and choreography inspired by one of NYCB’s signature works, George Balanchine’s Serenade. Workshops also include a brief Q&A with the artists.
DETAILS
- Recommended for ages 13 and up. No prior dance experience is needed!
- This event is free for participants! A limited number of spots are available.
- Please come dressed comfortably and ready to move. Leotards, tights, and ballet shoes are not required.
- Please bring a bottle of water. A bottle refilling station is available in the school.
- Workshop will take place at the SPAC School of the Arts located behind the National Museum of Dance (99 South Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY).
- Arrival time: Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the workshop to ensure that you have time to park and check in.
