
NYCB Access Workshop for Teens and Adults

Experience the dynamic repertory of New York City Ballet in this 75-minute movement workshop designed especially for teens and adults with disabilities. NYCB dancers will lead movers of all abilities in a warm-up and choreography inspired by a ballet being performed during NYCB’s SPAC engagement. Modifications, including standing and seated movement options, will be offered throughout the event. The workshop will close with a Q&A with the artists.

- No prior dance experience needed!
- Recommended for ages 13 and up
- Please come dressed comfortably and ready to move.
- Please bring a bottle of water. Bottle refilling stations are available in the school.
- This workshop event is free to participants! A limited number of spots are available.
- Workshop will take place at the SPAC School of the Arts located behind the National Museum of Dance (99 South Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY)
- Arrival times: Please arrive 20 minutes before the start of class to ensure that you have time to park and sign in.
- Parking is available in the lot located on the south side of the museum building.
- Please only sign up the participant. Up to three family members/friends will be allowed to accompany each participant.
SPAC will be giving each participant up to 2 complimentary tickets to the 7:30pm performance of NYCB on Saturday, July 12. Each workshop participant counts as one of the two available tickets. Tickets will be distributed to you at the workshop.
