Curious about how plays are made — from the first spark of an idea to a live performance? In this collaborative acting and writing class, students will explore the art of building original stories together. Through games, improvisation, and ensemble-based activities, students will learn how to create characters, develop dialogue, and transform ideas into scenes that come to life on stage. Along the way, they’ll strengthen their performance, storytelling, and playwriting skills while discovering their unique voices as both writers and actors.
The class culminates in a celebratory sharing of original work for invited friends and family members.
This class is open to everyone and supports personal goals, making it eligible for OPWDD Self-Direction funding.
