
Join the artist of NYCB for this movement workshop designed especially for children ages 18 and under with disabilities and/or movement disorders. This one-hour workshop will be co-led by a pair of NYCB Dancers and will include a warm-up and choreography inspired by one of the ballets featured in the matinee performance that day. Modifications, including standing and seated movement options, will be offered throughout the event. Young movers of all abilities and their siblings are welcome.

- No prior dance experience needed!
- Recommended for ages 18 and under
- Please come dressed comfortably and ready to move
- Please bring a bottle of water. Bottle refilling stations are available in the school.
- This workshop event is free to participants! A limited number of spots are available. Participants also receive free tickets to the 2pm NYCB performance at SPAC. See free ticket details below!
- Workshop will take place at the SPAC School of the Arts located behind the National Museum of Dance (99 South Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY)
- Arrival times: Please arrive 20 minutes before the start of class to ensure that you have time to park and sign in.
- Parking is available in the lot located on the south side of the museum building.
- Please only sign up the participant. Up to three family members/friends will be allowed to accompany each participant.
- A parent/guardian should be prepared to participate with their child in offering support throughout the workshop in terms of mobility and stability as needed.
Free NYCB Matinee Tickets
SPAC will be giving each participant up to 4 complimentary tickets to the 2pm performance of NYCB on Saturday, July 22. Each workshop participant counts as one of the four available tickets. Tickets will be distributed to you at the workshop. At least one of the complimentary seats will be wheelchair accessible. Health and Safety Policy
All participants and accompanying family members must adhere to protocols imposed by Saratoga Performing Arts Center and New York City Ballet related to COVID-19. Protocols may include, without limitation, temperature checks, pre-sanitization requirements, physical distancing, masks/face coverings, food & beverage service and handling, vaccine requirements, and requiring persons developing or exhibiting symptoms to leave.
