Co-presented with Saratoga Shakespeare Company, this annual outdoor festival is held on SPAC grounds in July to celebrate language and the art of the spoken word. The full afternoon of events includes performances by roaming actors and poets, fun-filled activities, crafts, games, and an immersive production of an abridged play that is equally captivating for families with small children as well as the most-seasoned theatre enthusiasts. Previous festivals culminated in performances of Shakespeare’s The Tempest, and a musical adaptation of Romeo and Juliet.
