Using positivity, agreement, specificity, and teamwork, students will build upon their learnings from Improv I. They will think spontaneously, creating characters, relationships, and scenes all from a single word. Students will explore different aspects of their own physicality, imagination, and communication through a wide variety of short-form games and exercises commonly performed in Comedy Sportz and Theater Sports show formats.
Students are expected to have some experience in ensemble-building and theatre.
This class intends to develop as an improv ensemble with goals of performing in front of audiences.
This class is open to everyone and supports personal goals, making it eligible for OPWDD Self-Direction funding.
