Students in this introductory class will practice the fundamental skills of improv including positivity, trust, commitment, and teamwork. Students will explore the different aspects of their own physicality, imagination, and vocal capacity through a wide variety of short-form games and exercises commonly performed in the Comedy Sportz and Theater Sports show formats. The class is intended to provide the building blocks and skills required for the students to advance and grow into Improv II.
This class culminates in a celebratory performance at the end of the final class for invited friends and family members.
