“Ballet in America Series”
This unique movement exploration makes the history of Ballet in America come alive through the lens of docents and guest teachers who highlight each dancer/choreographer’s groundbreaking and lasting contributions to the development of this performing art.
Each session begins with a 15-minute virtual tour that includes biographical information, artifacts, and images that illustrate each artist’s legacy. This will be followed by a one-hour movement class appropriate for all level participants. Come experience how one generation connects to the next through inspiration and innovation.
This class is open to everyone and supports personal goals, making it eligible for OPWDD Self-Direction funding.
