This creative dance class will expand upon students’ foundational skills by utilizing music, story, and various dance styles as sources of inspiration for creating movement. Students will work independently, with partners, and as part of an ensemble to respond to movement prompts, create short dance phrases, and improvise stories through movement. Together, we will foster our critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Open to all levels and abilities. While Dance Discovery II builds upon the foundations learned in Dance Discovery I, it is not a prerequisite.

This class culminates in a celebratory performance at the end of the final class for invited friends and family members.
