Featuring cocktails, culinary delights, and conversation with author Naomi Duguid and WAMC’s Joe Donahue

Join us for bites and beverages inspired by Naomi Duguid’s upcoming book The Miracle of Salt.

Try salt infused cocktails such as a Spicy Margarita rimmed with Salted Chili and Black Lime. And specialty food tastings including Herb & Salt-Cured Faroe Island Salmon, Duck Breast Prosciutto, Provencal Anchovy & Onion Tart, and Salted Chocolate-Almond Brittle.

WAMC’s Joe Donahue will then host an intriguing discussion with Duguid exploring the miracle of salt and its essential role in preserving, fermenting, and transforming food.

From creating a vibrant “salt pantry,” to techniques for making miso and prosciutto, to tips on how to transform vegetables, soups and pasta dishes – don’t miss this exclusive first look at The Miracle of Salt!
