On the occasion of National Ballet of Cuba’s acclaimed production of Giselle that is coming to Saratoga Performing Arts Center on June 6, 7 & 8, the National Museum of Dance will hold a special “Alicia Alonso’s Giselle” photo exhibition and champagne welcome reception for Octavio Roca, visiting Saratoga for three special events.
Octavio Roca is the author of several books including Cuban Ballet, with forewords by Alicia Alonso and Mikhail Baryshnikov. He has been music and dance critic for The Washington Post, The Washington Times, and the San Francisco Chronicle, as well as Associate Professor of Philosophy at Miami Dade College.
