The culmination of this program is a celebratory performance on SPAC’s main stage. In prior years, the participating children from the local YMCAs were joined by approximately 30 young dancers from National Dance Institute’s own Celebration Team to perform a choreographed dance piece as a pre-show to performances by acclaimed dance companies such as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in 2016, and the Argentinean dance company Che Malambo in 2017.
