STAY AT HOME GUIDELINES
Stay at home if:
- You are sick or have COVID-19 symptoms (such as fever, a sore throat, chills, cough, shortness of breath, congestion, nausea, or vomiting);
- You’ve been in close contact with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 or exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms within the past 14 days;
- You’ve been directed to self-isolate or quarantine by a health care provider or public health official. Please follow the CDC guidelines and any relevant state travel guidelines;
- You are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test.
The CDC strongly recommends that all fans who are not fully vaccinated continue to wear face coverings unless they are actively eating, drinking or are otherwise exempt from having to wear a face covering.
HAND WASHING & SANITIZING
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the restroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. Hand sanitizer will be widely available on the SPAC grounds.
There will be secure, contactless mobile ticketing for 2021, which will reduce physical touch points on the grounds. More traditional ticket delivery options will also be available. Unless absolutely necessary, tickets must be purchased in advance so the venue can make the necessary preparations in order to uphold NYS COVID-19 guidelines. There will be no additional fees for online ticket purchases (excluding Live Nation concerts), unless you choose to have tickets delivered by mail. The box office will open for the season for in-person and phone sales beginning Monday, June 21 at noon, however prices will increase for same-day sales.
SPAC will create and enforce policies to limit crowd density through physical distancing, capacity reduction and/or the elimination of gatherings in small spaces.
Box offices and entry gates will be reconfigured to reduce congestion. Foot traffic patterns will also be modified to limit queuing or crowding at the box offices, gates, food service areas, and restrooms.
All performances will take place in the open-air amphitheater and lawn on the SPAC grounds, unless otherwise noted. SPAC staff and security will monitor for noncompliance of these policies. Guests not following these policies will be asked to comply or leave the premises.
SEATING & PERFORMANCE PROTOCOLS
We are reducing the seating capacity in the amphitheater and on the lawn. Seating in the amphitheater will be physically distanced by maintaining empty seats between parties. Ticketholders on the lawn will have the opportunity to select a designated pod upon purchase to ensure appropriate distances between guests.
Unless otherwise noted, programs will not exceed 80 minutes and will be presented without intermission.
All restrooms will be monitored to maintain COVID-19 safety standards for social distancing and airflow. SPAC will also use enhanced cleaning protocols in accordance with all standard CDC recommendations.
FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE
SPAC will limit the availability of concessions on site and will communicate food and beverage options for each performance. If available, food and beverages can only be consumed while seated in your designated pod. Only factory sealed water bottles and essential personal items will be permitted onsite.
OTHER WAYS WE’RE MAKING SPAC SAFE
Staff will take part in rigorous training to ensure familiarity with all safety protocols and procedures, and to provide for safe patron compliance. Staff and artists will also follow COVID-19 protocols with regular health screenings, universal mask wearing and compliance with physical distancing requirements.
